Fabricated from formed sheet steel, it features a smooth, semi-cylindrical trough with precision-cut side notches for secure placement and alignment within clevis hangers or beam clamps. The saddle’s geometry ensures uniform load distribution across the insulation surface, preventing compression, tearing, or vapor barrier breach. It is especially suited for chilled water, steam, and process piping installations where insulation integrity is critical. Manufactured from carbon steel (ASTM A36 or equivalent) with HDG or ZP finish. Complies with MSS-SP-58 Type 39 and ASTM A123.
